KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Tim Taylor
The best part of this story is I had a brain aneriusm on June 10th so just to be able to be at this show was awesome. This is god's country. As Scotti Hill of Skid Row said "picture a stage on top of the Grand Canyon." The Columbia River Gorge is beautiful but fitting the KISS stage onto the ampitheater stage was a feat. The KISS show was altered a bit to fit. Only one video screen instead of three and the flashing KISS logos were on the side of the stage up front instead of by Peter. It was also very windy and the flames were a bit too close to the guys. During "heavens on fire" Paul almost caught on fire so we only got 2 flames instead of 4 rest of the song. Gene was blown into the lighting truss during his "rise to the top" for "god of thunder." The boys rocked, they were really tight. Ace's guitar went dead right at the start of his solo otherwise is was flawless. The party in the campground after was great too. This show kicks major ass. You have to see it. Look ! for my Portland review too. I MEET GENE!
