KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Jason
Van Andel arena has to be one of the nicest places to see a show. Easy Parking and not a bad seat in the house. on to the show - Skid row was ok. New singer was no Sebastian. Ted was better than most of his performances that I have seen. Kiss was in true form! Peter seemed a little pissed on the big screen at the start of the show..maybe he was having monitor problems. Ace seemed a little sloppy at first - solos had choppy spots but after he loosened up a little - he returned to the Ace that made me pick up a guitar in the first place. set list was pretty much like others that I have seen. No surprises there. They did seem in a little bit of a hurry to wind up at the end...but alas it was a sunday night and this was GR not Detroit. Paul had a little husk to his voice but not near as bad as some of the reviews that I had read for prior shows... all in all a great show.... c-ya in Detroit on the 25th!
