KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

okay, before i get started, i must confess this was my first kiss concert and as with everything, it did not go without a hitch. the car broke down and had to be towed to a station. luckily for me, a group of kiss fans saw my shirt and picked me up. a plus was also that they were all females who had openings so i had stiff propositions for them after the show, but i digress. skid row sucked raw eggs, too loud to be comprehended and only played four songs. the lead singer(not bach) ran around like a spaz and was horrible. ted nugent was pretty awesome! he played the kiss my ass song, a very catchy tune to sing at church picnics and other family gatherings. also cat scratch fever and stranglehold were done well. the ending was ted shooting an arrow at his guitar, which got the crowd all worked up for the main event! i forgot to tell you the place did not fill up until the end of the nugent concert. the people were probably either in the restroom barfing after skid row or were in line trying to by 25-35 dollar shirts which i will buy at my hometown store for 15 at a later date. the bad fab four finally showed up. unlike other reports, gene did not look like he was 300 pounds, looked overweight but not to the extreme that people were saying. they started with DRC and let me tell you they were in rare form. peter did a drum solo during 100,000 years which i didn't expect due to his arm problems. also messed up beth, how someone can sing a song a million times and forget the words is beyond me, but sounded great during black diamond. paul looked out of shaped with his rubbery arms and his jiggly body. he did do his love gun conveyor belt act, luckily for me and the big busted women next to me i was sitting where paul landed after he got off his shoot and saw the best sets of breasts ever. paul was even impressed. the 80's songs were finely played as were the other songs. although they did do the confetti too early during RARAN. Ace was in fine form as he belted out shock me and 2000 man. if you get the chance, go to the concert. although it doesn't live up to the reunion tour, it rises to the ocassion quite nicely. god speed and may you always shout it out loud!!!
