KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Lukester
I take back what I said on the Atlanta review, I said.."Skid Who???"...sorry guys, the Skids only need to find a niche. They Rocked, but were missing something, hmmmm..maybe Sebastian could have caried them further. I did actually gain some respect for them, "snake" was on crutches and still played very hard for the crowd. I loved Skid Row back about 8 years ago, liked hearing their old stuff like "18 and Life"..the acoustic version of "I Remember You" was the highlight of the show. My personal recommendation(like you care) is to find this new lead singer some new tunes. The band sounds great until he tries to sing the old stuff. LOL

Mext was TED, he really rocked this time. Made some even more bizarre political statements about Jesse Jackson, the NAACP, and Janet Reno. He was definitely welcomed by the SC crowd. I believed this show was better (if possible) than the Atlanta show. Ted, WE LOVE YOU IN SC!!!!!!.

On to the real deal....Got off to a good start with "DRC" and rocked the crowd. Good news is that ACE remembered the words to "Shock Me". bad news is that they seemed a little out of sink towards the end of the song, seemed like ACE was in space( I am not sure that he is in good health, I AM actually worried)... He went to the side, maybe he had a problem with his Les Paul, I dunno...But he came back and did not falter!!!!!( I love you ACE). The show was much more than expected. THey played their hearts out. Peter really seemed to enjoy himself tonight, Paul kept calling him "The Mr. Wonderful Peter Criss" and he danced a bit. His voice on Black Diamond was GREAT!!!!!! These guys really let it all hang out tonight. I will miss seeing you guys alot!!!! The only "bad" thing that happened was at the end of the show: The Video came on that said "WE LOVE YOU GREENFIELD" drew ALOT of BOO'S from the crowd, considering we are in GREENVILLE. All that aside, I loved the show, and hope t! o see Paul on Broadway soon, Gene in the movies, ACE......wherever( I WOULD PAY GOOD MONEY TO SEE YOU ANYWHERE, SPACE MAN!!)..Peter, I love you and hope you do a tour of your own !!!!!!!!.

Farewell to the HOTTEST BAND IN THE WORLD, WE ALL LOVE YOU!!!!

DO NOT MISS THIS TOUR PEOPLE!!!!!!!
