KISS: tonite was my 3rd kiss show in 4 nites and probably my last. this show was completely different from the other two shows. It wasn't that each member didn't play their ass off, because they did. maybe it was because i had the best seats here than the two previous concerts (sixth row floor). anyway to begin with, in drc, when the curtain drops with a bang, the curtain was still hanging on in one place, another bang and it dropped too. peter wasn't lazy tonite, he was hitting the skins hard all nite. after the solo in shock me the band got way off and barely kept the song going. i couldn't tell who messed up, but i thought at one time they were gonna have to stop. but paul saved it when he sang, "I wanna feel your power" and saved the song and they finished up the song on the same beat. ace was throwing picks at paul and gene all nite. At the beginning of dr. love, gene got a pair of panties from the audience, and from then on for the rest of the nite both gene and paul got an assortment of bras and panites. Gene went up and came down fine, as did paul. in aces solo he missed the right balloon way off (maybe he misses all the time i could just see it tonite. how the hell are you supposed to aim a guitar anyway?" after beth when the band came out to bow gene was pointing at peters penis. gene was looking at the audience and peter didn't realize what gene was doing and walked right into genes finger. It was hillarious and all of kiss thought so too. Paul didn't seem to talk as much either tonite. finished off the show smooth and when they went off for the final time the screen read THANK YOU GREENFIELD. whoever did this put greenfield instead of greenville. the house lights came up and people started booing. I wonder if kiss thought "what the hell are they booing at?" It sure wasn't the show. I guess seeing the band mess up a couple of times and having such a good time on stage made choose this concert out of the three as my favorite. the only thing i hate is how fast this week went by.
