KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Jim
When I saw the show last summer in Toronto my seats were not the best. This time I had seats down on the floor. I did not realize what I missed last time out. These guys are great. I will not go into show details other than to say that each member seemed to be right on that night. Ace's guitar playing was fantastic although his voice faded a little during 2000 Man. Paul as usual sounded great and really entertained the crowd. No drum solo by Peter this time but I think drum solos are over-rated anyway. Guess they were trying to save his arms. At one point Paul gave everyone in the crowd a good laugh. He said because he lived in Toronto last summer while he played the Phantom of the Opera, he had learned to speak Canadian. He displayed this by saying "Holy cow it's hot out EH!!". What made this so funny is the way he completely lost his Queen's accent and spoke with a completely neutral one. During the encore they played I Was Made for Loving You in between Beth and Rock and Roll All Night. And of course the show itself was fabulous with the blinding lights and fireworks. Great show for the memories. Thanks Guys!!
