KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: John Ryder
I could go on and on about this show, but I'll keep it short and sweet. KISS is STILL one of the best live rock shows you will EVER see. DON'T MISS THEM!!

The crowd and the band were on fire right from the start and never let up. Lots of reviews here kept saying how the energy level was so incredible and the crowd so into it and I saw it for myself Saturday night in Hartford. KISS WAS ON FIRE!

We all know the visual aspect of the show is great, but the sound was very good as well. Loud, clear and very full. KISS knows how to do it right!

Gene was very into the show from start to finish, giving the crowd his manic stage presence like only he can deliver. Paul's vocals sounded fantastic. Ace was right on the money and though Peter may look like he is taking it sort of easy behind the drums at times, the man knows how to work a drum kit very well indeed!

We missed most of the Skid boys but what little we heard sounded good. Uncle Ted kicked ass and can certainly hold his own on the old hollow body Gibson, though I wished at times he'd had another guitar player like he always used to have for a bit fuller sound.

All in all, just a great show. If this really is their last tour, (and I hope it's not) I'm glad as hell I got to see it!!
