KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Mike Hunt
What Can I say, The Band of Bands, The show of Shows, The kings of ROCK, KISS!!! The Boys were in top form in Hartford on 7/8/00. Me and my fiends had 18th row center, so we had a great view, we had to stand the hole show but who the hell wants to sit on their ass when these guys are playing. The sound was spectacular, all instruments and vocals were mixed great, the show was fabulous! The band pretty much did most of the same songs they played on the last two tours, only one off of Psycho Circus this time around and four non-make up era songs which I found strange but what the hell it's their Farewell right plus they played the shit out of em'. Kiss played about two hours and did most of the usual stage gimmicks, parts of the show were predictable but I never seem to get tired of these guys. I could see this show once a week and still not get tired of it, they're the reason I picked a guitar and learned how to play. It was just pure aural and visual adrenalin from start to finish. Thanks to ACE, PAUL, PETER and GENE for the years of Great music and concerts, you'll never be never be duplicated. Also, Hats off to the Great Gonzo Mr. Ted Nugent, you can still play your ass off, and it was a great pleasure to see you rocking again, and you played one excellent set, the perfect appetizer to get crowd rip roaring for KISS. If anyone out has any doubts about seeing this tour go get your head checked immediately because you'll be missing out on one serious kick in the pants, this is one show not to be missed, let's just hope this farewell tour lasts ten years.
