KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Keith Thompson
20 Years ago when I bought my first Kiss album I never thouht I would wait 20 years to see "THE GREATEST ROCK AND ROLL BAND". Walking away from the Pavilion I thought "WOW this was the best concert I've ever seen".

As Skid Row left the stage and 9:00 approached the thousands and thousands of fans grew anciy. When they announced the band and the banner came down the crowd came to life.Openning with Detroit Rock City the sea of fans were on their feet for the next 2 and 1/2 hours. Watching Paul work the crowd, Gene pouring sweat and singing Shout It Out Loud and I Love It Loud, my only thoght was how do they do this day in and day out?My wife Marilyn was amused by the antics of Gene with his fire breathing and blood spewing. Watching the videos during some of the songs like Do You Love Me, 2000 Man, and Psycho Circus I thought, this is how I pictured the concert to be.

As the concert came to an end and the crowd wanting more Pete came out and out and sang Beth then the other three came out to wrap it up with Rock And Roll All Night. When I think back to what Paul say when you come to our show you'll get your moneys worth and I felt like I had with my voice pratically gone and legs hurting he was right and nobody left dissapointed.

Kiss is THE GREATEST ROCK AND ROLL BAND EVER.Thanks for the memories.
