KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: David Pittman
Wanted to let you all know that I witnessed the last KISS show in Indianapolis over the weekend and was happy and sad.

I was happy to take my six year old Son to something that I felt was very special to me as well as to him. I've been a kiss fan for years and felt a need to Pass the torch so to speak.

I must say they sounded better than Nugent or Skid Row. The sound for the other bands was just too loud. Don't get me wrong, I like my music good and loud but I couldn't understand them at all and the music sounded distorted.

The show was great for me because of my Son being there. He thought it was amazing. And for the most part it was.

However, I did notice that Ace wasn't quite himself. I sat on the side of the stage where I could look down under the stage where the mixing boards were etc.. and it appeared that Ace may of had a little too much to drink. Well, a lot to drink! They had to help him up on the stage each time he came up from below and you could see him stumble and lose his balance.

I hope the drinking bug isn't back for our Ace but it was clear to me and many others that night that Ace was crocked out of his skull.

The tickets to the shows are very expensive and I hate to think that I'm paying for a half hearted show because someone wants to drink before the show. I love Kiss and always will but Hey Ace, party after the show!!!
