KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Tim K.
(To get my review scroll down this is nothing important!)Ok, I am only 14 years old, but I have been a kiss fan since the age of 4. I have been fascinated by their out-of-this-world looks, and make-up. For some reasonI just have always been amused. I would get my dad's records, tapes, or c.d's out and just put them in and listen to them for hours. I even dressed up as Ace at the age of 6 on Halloween. But I don't want to bore you with any of that, so, I'll get on with my review of the concert!

Alright it was around the middle of June that I first heard KISS would be playing at Deer Creek Music Center(DCMC) on Saturday May 20! I immediately told my dad that we had to get tickets and he got right on it! After that I called all of my friends and told them I was going to the concert! That seem to care to much because their all more into rap and stuff like that but they just don't know the real concept of music. It was on friday May 19, that my dad said we wouldnt be going to the concert! I was Pissed! I knew that I HAD to go because it would be my last chance and I had only seen them 1 other time(July 2 1997 Reunion Tour)so I jut HAD to go. Then, my dad's friend Dave calls me up and says hey I'll sell you a ticked for $50 and Ill take you there. So i said it's a deal. I gave him the $50 and we were on our way their. When we got their we seen some band playin on sum small stage off to the side but they really sucked. After watchin them for about 10 minutes a spotted my seats. This is where it all begins!:

I had got 2 my seats and about 20 minutes later Skid Row came out. I dont really wanna say they sucked too much but they did. At the end the singer said "Were all gonna say Farewell to KISS and welcome back Skid Row" well the crowd didn't like that too much and ended up booing them. Next, came out Ted Nugent! He rocked! I must say that for as long as this guy has been performing he can put on a show. . .not only that he was makin every1 laugh their asses off with his jokes about Janet Reno, Al Gore, and a bunch of other people"THEY CAN ALL KISS HIS ASS". After he was done their was about a 15 minute period and they played a bunch of VAN HALEN songs for sum reason. Then it happened. . .The light's went out and We all heard it"ALLLL RIIIIGGGGHHHTTT INDIANAPOLIS!!!! YOU WANTED THE BEST, YOU GOT THE BEST, THE HOTTEST BAND IN THE WORLD, KISS! They opened up with a classic Detroit Rock City and had all 23,000 people their standing on their seat. Song after song they had astounding videos with them. I think the best 1 wuz on the "Do you love me?" song that video kicked ass! I must say that all of their solo's were great too! NO1 AT NETIME SAT DOWN IN THEIR SEATS! IT WAS AWESOME! I DONT CARE WHAT NE1 SAYS BUT KISS PUTS ON THE BEST SHOW IN THE WORLD! THAT IS THE TRUTH. OVERALL IT WAS A GREATSHOW AND KISS WILL LIVE ON 4EVER!
