Just got back from the show and drank a Jolt cola and a Red Bull so that I would have the energy to write this review!

Skid Row: The Sebastian Bach stand-in's voice was trashed. I guess the road has taken its toll on this poor fella. They tried vainly to make up for it with their trademark preening and posturing.

Ted Nugent: I support his First Amendment right to free expression, but I sure wish he'd shut up. Statements like, "Tonight even the faggots will want to eat pussy" betrays a homophobic redneck whose time has passed. But he sure can play guitar.

KISS: It was Ace's night! The three previous times I've seen KISS, I viewed Ace as the likeable guitarist with heart who was always on the border of fucking up his parts; kind of an underdog who you want to root for. (Though I always loved his early KISS recorded work and recognize him as a legendary trailblazer.) I had never seen Ace really kick ass, until tonight!!! He smoked, literally and figurtively! Perter seemed a bit tired or on edge or something...Gene moved around more than usual and did a flawless "God of Thunder". Paul was Paul. But Ace was God! I'm looking forward to tommorrow night in Devore! Until then...KISS rules! Love, Keath
