KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Duane Gendreaux
This show was a little more special for me because the day before, I met Gene at the local radio station where he and Paul had an interview. He signed an album for me and made his typical comical comments, like when asked to stick his tongue out, he said "I can't the floor is dirty!" On to the show, as always, it kicked ass!! I took my sister for her second time. We scored some 12th row center seats. She was thrilled!!! The venue was an open-air one, it was a pretty hot day anyway, so everyone was sweating it up and drinking like fish. I liked the new intro which has the curtain dropping after the monologue. Everyone was razor sharp. Gene was in great shape!! The wire acts were flawless. Paul sang "I Still Love You" by himself before going into Black Diamond. That was very cool, I love that song!!!! As the guys were taking a bow, Gene picked something up off the stage and started eating it, then he grabbed Pete's hand and threw up in it. Pete was freakin' out laughing and pointing to Gene who was laughing his ass off. CRAZY!!! They had a great time and so did WE!!! I'll be going to San Bernadino with my beautiful wife tonight! PEACE OUT!!!
