KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Spike Jabber
It's the morning after the "KISS Farewell Tour" hit Knoxville and my ears are still ringing! What a hell of a show. This was my 5th time seeing KISS and I was pretty much convinced that I was gonna see the reunion show all over again. I was wrong.

First off, this time around the opening acts ROCKED compared to the reunion show. Last time it was Verve Pipe. This time it was SKID ROW and Ted Nugent. The revamped SKID ROW put on an excellent set, although I wish they could have played longer. The new singer is good. I know he has some big shoes to fill but he did his job well. I don't know much about Ted Nugent but I did enjoy watching him perform and I loved "KISS MY ASS". Both acts did a good job of getting the crowd warmed up for KISS.

Now, on to KISS. It was great. Everything seemed right. The band rocked and the crowd was hyped up. Paul did a great job of being the ringleader. Gene was the demon I always idolized. Ace was the guitar god and Peter ruled last night. I've heard that Peter looks like he barely hits the drums. Last night, he was killer! I don't even care for BETH that much but he made it great. The effects and pyro were awesome. I dug the set list too. It was great to hear those 80's songs I was afraid I'd never hear again.

I'm not gonna sit here and bitch. I went to the concert because I like KISS. It was everything that I expected and more. I'm glad to see KISS go out on top and I'm honored to have seen them on their last tour. Rock on!
