KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Rick Lynch
I saw the Knoxvill show the other night and I will say it if nobody else will: KISS IS A BAND THAT IS ON CRUISE CONTROL!!!!!!! This setlist is outrageously similar to the set they played on the Psycho Circus tour. On top of that the set list is not changing at all from night to night. From Paul's high-five with Ace to Gene's too-predictably timed blood-spitting, it's virtually the same show they've done over and over for the past 2 years. It's clear that KISS is displaying a complete lack of originality, creativity and spontaneity. A fellow KISS fan who saw the Chattanooga show told me exactly what was going to happen in here in Knoxville. At this point, I would much rather hear something like "Hard Luck Woman" instead of "Beth" for the 90 millionth time. It is very easy for a rock band to play the same songs every night. And KISS is doing it the "easy way" on the Farewell Tour. So they added "2000 Man." How original. Why not something really offbeat like "Sure Know Something?"

As an opening act, Nugent proved to be such an idiot. Doesn't he realize that plenty of immigrants work in the factories that make music equipment and set up stages for rock concerts and work in the arenas where he plays? And believe me, all these Republicans that Ted loves would never tolerate his long hair if he had a real job in a Republican-supported corporation.

They made a splash with the reunion tour. THIS TIME KISS LEFT US ALL WET! Save your money!
