KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Scooby
First of all, if anyone out there hasn't seen KISS live before you don't know what your missing.

I thought SKid Row was awesome even if Bach wasn't up there with them. I think that the band did a great job of finding a replacement. When they played "I Remember You" the whole Arena lit up with lighters. These guys rocked.

Ted Nugent took stage next and he totally rocked the whole place. I just wish he could of played longer. I just loved the part when he said "if you can't speak english get the fuck out of America", you go Ted. I've never seen Ted before and I was very impressed. I thought that "Kiss my Ass" was awesome. Ted got the crowd pumped up for KISS.

Then, You wanted the best, you got the best! KISS!!!!!! It was time for the Arena to rock-n- roll all nite. The guys opened up with DRC and the pyros were spectaular. I was on the nineth row and I could fell the heat from the flames especially from "Heaven's on Fire". Ace, Peter, Paul and Gene were just rockin that night. I was totally satisfied with the show. They really love there fans and it shows.

There was a lot of titty shots thanks to the big screen behind them. Paul said "We should change the name of this town, from Knoxville to Knockersville."

When Ace performed "2000 Man", he was awesome. The Flaming guitar was great.

I loved Gene's blood and when he set the sword on fire. My favorite thing was "Calling Dr. Love" that's my favorite KISS song. (Does anyone out there have Rock-n-Roll pneumonia?)

The band closed with Peter coming out and performing "Beth". He brought out about 5 long stem red roses and passed them out to the ladies in the front row. I thought that was really sweet, then he sat on his little bucket and sang his heart out. But,it wasn't over just yet. The boys closed with "Rock-n-Roll all nite". There was so much confetti and streamers I couldn't see my hand in front of my face. I managed to grab some as a sovenir.

Even though this was my first KISS concert it was probably the best damn show I'd ever seen. I just hated that it had to end.

KISS rocked Knoxville and I was there.
