KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Robert Walters
The only word for this show WOW! Now I'm not gonna bore you with all that "this was the greatest one ever" talk. No, that's too hard to gauge let's face it. But this show did kick some MAJOR ASS. If you bought a ticket to a future show and are wondering if you got your money's worth, dont worry.

The show started off in the standard fare every one else has described, I dont remember the set list or the order of songs, I was having too much fun. The songs that do stand out in my head are 2000 man, Firehouse and Deuce..... Those three songs kicked some major ass. Kiss looked like once again they were having a truly great time and did indeed thank us numorous times for coming out and supporting them over the years.

The other stand out point of the evening happened before the show and again tword the end. A DJ guy came out before the show and stated that if we play our "cards just right" we can expect KISS to come back and play here one more time. I blew it off as wishfull thinking, but then Paul confirmed what he said tword the end of the show and said they had a great time and would indeed be coming back!! Could this be the fabled "last show" or just an added date? Only time will tell.

oh, and for those of you worried about peter's playing....DONT! He was banging the skins hard and was right on time. Smiling the whole time. One more thing before I go, I gotta mention. How come no one talks about how Paul has gotten the range back in his voice? Man, he was hitting all the high noted in Heavens on fire, 100,000 years and singing his between song raps like a bird! Mabey it's because of his recent stints with the Phantom, but he hasnt sang this good in a long long time. You are all in for a treat!!

Any way, I'm going to the L.A. show Tommorrow night and hope it's only half as good as tonights was. Cya all there!
