KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Travis
After a seven hour drive and four hours of sleep I was really excited for my tenth KISS show. I arrived during skid row, they sounded fairly decent. Then on came Ted, he did not sound very good. the best part of the show was when he played "Cat Scratch Fever and Stranglehold".

Finally the black curtain feel down and I was very pumped in anticipation of the Farewell show. I had decent seats on Ace's side seven rows of the floor. The boys came out with DRC and the crowd went nuts. Everything was kicking ass until DR Love Paul or Ace made a mistake which was'nt to bad. Then Paul was was making his announcement for heavens on fire and said this is from the first non-make up album. Again no big deal until they hit lick it up, about halfway through the song he forgets what the hell their playing and Paul says Peter wants to play the drums. Then they finish the song. Encore time. Peter comes out to sing Beth, Largo 79 revisited he misses the second verse and then laughs about it. I dont like to bitch but this is the first time I've experienced mistakes made by the band live. Overall the show was spectacular. I had hoped they would change up the set list maybe play something rare like magic touch, charisma, or almost human. But I also would be pist if they didnt play love gun or black diamond. Again awesome show with a few minor mistakes.
