KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Mike W.
The Show remains the same. Nothing changed since I saw them opening nght on Phoenix. The set list was the same except a few songs were dropped this time but they did perform "2000 Man" which surprised me because I had heard that song was retired last New Year's Eve. Paul looked like all that dancing on stage payed off for him because he looked much thinner than in March. All the usual antics of blood, smoke, fire, etc. were included. "God of Thunder" came out really well as did "Psycho Circus". Ace and Peter added much needed life to the 80's songs they performed. Ace carried the band as always. Gene and Peter played great also. Paul played well when he got around to playing his guitar. Peter's voice on "Beth" sounded the best that I ever heard him. I wouldv'e prefered a few more songs and less bantering between them but they are still the best live band anywhere. The show ran 2 hours 10 minutes. The ticket price range was $45-$85. Plenty of seats were avalable in the back down low as this was not a sell-out. I scalped a scalper and got great seats 9 rows from the floor on the side near the stage and got the $85 tickets for less than 1/2 price. I've seen Kiss several times since my first time in 1979. They still got it !!!!! Mike W.
