KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Brian Vann
Absolutely Great. They know how to put on a show. Only complaint was the sound system. Not much clarity at times, but not the fault of the band. Gene and Ace were their usual spectacular selves' and Paul really put on a show. He lit the audience up with his Love Gun flying act. One jackass tried to jump up on the main stage during the only encore song of R & R All Night. I think Paul might have "got a piece of him" with his boot, as security was grabbing on to him. Peter must have been sick. Didn't do much background singing and didn't do Beth at the end. Paul sang Black Diamond, as Peter really pounded away during that one. Peter has added a few chops since I saw them my previous 2 times in 96'. He and Gene did a lot of commuticating and I think Gene had to get Peter to pick up the time on a couple of occasions. Could have done without Skid Row. Nugent was tremendous and had everybody rocking. Perfect fit with Kiss. Absolutely enjoyable evening (except for the few grass smokers that were sitting nearby). If you are contiplating going to see Kiss.....GO! As to Kiss,,,been a fan since 1976. Will always be a fan. Thanks for the memories and GOOD LUCK!
