KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: TK
First of all, I think that a couple of the other reviews are way off base in regard to Skid Row. I thought they rocked, including the new lead singer. They were SOOO LOUD!!!!!

I don't particularly follow Ted Nugent, but he was somewhat entertaining. A little too vulgar for me, but he was right on the money politically.

KISS met all of my expectations. These were the best seats I have ever had at a KISS concert (10th Row), and for the most part I could see great. Since I am only 5'4", I did have to balance on the seat in front of me occasionally too see over taller people in front. Guitar picks and drum sticks came our way, but very few. I was not fortunate enough to get my hands on one. I had to settle for a hand full of confetti as a souvenir.

The band seemed to be having a great time. Their selection of girls to take back stage seemed pretty lacking to me, but they still worked the crowd trying to get as many girls to show there stuff as possible. I was very envious of the girls getting all of Paul's attention on the front row.

Contrary to the opinions stated in reviews above, Ace performed beautifully! I admit that he may appear to be "relaxed" at times, but his ability to play that guitar does not suffer one bit!

I was saddened to hear Peter sing "Beth" for the last time live. But it was very touching.

It was worth the $75.00 a ticket! Every Dime!
