KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Crystal Butler
I was among the 17,000 adoring fans at the pavilion. The anticipation of the coming attraction was intense. But well worth the wait. This was my first and last KISS concert in a nutshell. From the very moment, the stage started to descend-you could feel the electricity in the air. They must have played everyone of my favorites, just as everyone else must have felt. And, I was shouting right along with them-until I lost my voice. With the excite in house, it only seem to provide the right atmosphere for those guys to pour their heart and soul in to show. Paul should be call Mr. Energy-not to shabby for 49 years young. He looks FINE. And how about Peter, he just hammer on "Black Diamond". He sailed through that solo. outstanding! I was very surprised with Ace-he has serious vocal range. He gave it his all during "Shock Me-2000 Man" solo's-pyro's were fantastic. And, last but not least-Gene. If, you paid close attention you'll noticed his facial expression during "God of! Thunder" it's an intense transformation. Good deal! It was a visual feast for the eyes. A cornucopia for the senses. It was very appearent that across the 27 year career, KISS is the premier example of what live shows should embody. I'm saddened to see them go, but I wouldn't have missed it for anything. Sincerely, Crystal
