KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Butch Marshall
I have been a KISS fan since the age of 8 years old. Not ever being allowed by my parents to go see them, I feel blessed that the orignal memebers re-united giving me the opportunity to finally see them live. Since the reunion tour, this was my 5th time seeing them. I have noticed at these shows that the majority of the fans attending are my age. And I enjoy that. I thought that this was a good show. But not one of the best that I have seen. I always enjoy KISS. It seemed that maybe they were somewhat limited to the size of the stage and Pavillion. I was expecting during Peter Chris'drum solo, that the stage the drum set was setting on, to rise in the air and move out to the edge of the stage, as he did during the Psycho Circus tour. Also, Gene's bass solo was not the best I have seen him do. He usually really works the audience. It seemed to be a little shorter than usual and was a quicker. There was also a few more songs that I expected to hear! them play that they did not. I enjoy 2000 man, but also expected to hear "Into the Void". I also expected to hear maybe one other song during the enchore, where they only played "Beth" and "Rock and Roll All Nite". It seemed like maybe they were rushing a little. But also they seemed to be enjoying theirselves and having a good time. I am going to see them also at Hershey Wednesday night, so I am looking forward to see them one last time. I will definately miss being able to look forward to seeing them in concert.
