KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Jason Zimmerman
"It was a hot night and KISS made it Hotter than Hell". This was show number 3 for me. I was anxiously awaiting this one. I am sad to see it come but it was something that I will remember forever. Skid Row opened up the show with some heavy classics that only Skid Row can do. They warmed the crowd up. Then Ted Nugent came on and did his thing. Then the real deal. I heard "Won't Get Fooled Again" and was ready for the boys. They must have had some last minute problems because it took them a little longer. It was well worth it. Finally that chill you get only when you know KISS is about to hit the stage. It was time. The announcement... "YOU WANTED THE BEST......". The crowd was ready. All 18,000 screaming and fired up. BOOM!!!...the curtain dropped and in comes the intro to Detroit Rock City...AWESOME!!!...The boys come down from the floating stage with the stair cases beside them. They breeze through DRC and blast right into Deuce. They jam all the classic tunes like only KISS can do...The highlights of the show for me are 2000 Man, Deuce, Detroit Rock City, 100,000 years and the coolest things for me were I still Love you, Black Diamond and the new sound Lick it Up.I will miss the anticipation of seeing more KISS shows...Goodbye and Thank you for the memories,
