KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Shawn
I first saw KISS at US Air arena on the Reunion Tour Oct.6, 1996. I remember the feel of the crowd. Pure excitement. You could feel the electricity in the air, the anticipation of witnessing something almost religious, a rebirth, the return of something thought lost. On July 1, there was that energy and anticipation in the air, but it was also mixed with an air of sadness, almost somber. The bittersweet feelings of saying goodbye to a best friend.

The show was extraordinary and the audience was on fire, (especially the two hot chicks in leather in the front row who kept lifting their tops whenever the camera moved their way!) The crowd, the band, even the security people all had a good time. Their is always a sense of comraderie you get at KISS shows that you just don't get with anyone else.

It's sad that KISS is preparing to step permanently into the mists of legend, but they're doing it in style and dignity, and with alot of ass-kicking along the way! Thank you KISS. You've brought SO much happiness into SO many people's lives; I'm just glad I was able to be there to show my love and appreciation one last time. And what a great time it was!!!
