KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: John Lease
Well tonight was the first of three in Melbourne and what can I say but...'We wanted the best and we got the best'.It was gut wrenching,it was loud and it was just great Rock 'N' Roll the band was in fine form and there was a relaxed no tension feel about the band. There was alot of banter between the band and sideway glances at each other and lots of interplay with the audience. It made for an exciting night for all and what can I say about the show ,everything was there fire breathing, blood spitting, flaming drum solo, smoking guiters,Pauls great fly across the crowd and lots of explosions.v The songs were great from the start with Detroit Rock City,Duece,Shout It out Loud and I wont spoil it for everyone else about the set listing but the highlight songs for me on the night was Let me go Rock and Roll/Black Diamond and can I just say that even though Peter Criss wasn't there Eric Singer is just a Kissarse drummer who proved again that you add a great drummer with a mean kick to a great band and you get a 'Fucking Killer' band.v I hope when you read this that if you havn't got a ticket for either the 2nd or third concert that you get one because this band defines what 'Rock 'N' Roll is all about and I'll be there these next two nights just like I have for every Melbourne gig they have played since 1980 and lets all 'Rock N Roll all Nite and party every day.

Thanks guys for being there thru all the years since I saw RARAN on countdown in 1975 and I hope for my own selfish self that this isn't the last KISS and that there is still more to come because I Love you guys.
