KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Chris Kelly
Just got back from the 2nd of the 3 Melbourne concerts, and I have to say that Kiss were awesome tonight!!!!!!!!!! I have now seen them on 3 separate tours and this BY FAR was the best.....

From the opening chords of Detroit Rock City to the Grand Finale of Rock and Roll All Nite, Kiss left me spellbound

Personal highlights:

Eric Singer's drum solo - this guy is the best Kiss dummer - PERIOD and the flaming drumstick affect was really cool

Paul singing Hard Luck Woman - simply awesome

Hearing the Unmasked tracks (Shandi and Talk To Me) - a welcome and pleasent surprise

Paul flying out into the Crowd during Love Gun - I was sitting about a metre away from him....man he has some stage presence!!!

The medley of songs during the 2nd encore - bringing back a couple of rarities - always good to hear

The guys seemed very relaxed on stage too with Ace Gene and Paul cracking jokes at each other during the show

All in all it just another unbelievable Kiss experience

It is just a shame that I will never get to see them live again

You guys are the greatest - Paul, Gene, Ace, Peter, Eric Carr(RIP), Eric Singer, Bruce Kulick Thanks for all the years of great music and memories
