KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: John Lease
Well like I said on my first review that you should get along and catch the band at the next two concerts,I can tell you it was worth it.Each night has been better than the last and tonight I was lucky enough to have front on seats to the stage and got to see it how it should be experienced.

The sound was like nothing you can imagine in that it just went right thru you and left a deep rumbling in your guts, the lights were so bright you needed sun glasses and the heat from the bombs singed your eyebrows. The band again just got better and no offence to Peter but with the drumming and singing of Eric the band is better for it.The set listing was the same order as the previous 2 nights except for Paul playing part of Forever and in the medely at the end they did Goin' Blind/New York Groove/Rocket Ride/Strutter(I dont know why they dont add that to the regular set....it went down great)Mr Speed/She and Parasite but tonight everything seemed to work. All the equipment seemed to function right the sound was great and even though the crowd was down on the previous nights (mind you not by much)the place really rocked.

Well thats the last time I'll see them live and even thou its sad at least I can say I've seen Kiss live in Melbourne everytime there played here as well as the convention and my two oldest children over the years both now know what there dad is always going on about saying that Kiss is the Greatest band in the world but its a shame my youngest who is only 2 wont get the chance to see Kiss live he'll only have my reminices and videos go on but you never know maybe one day it might inspire him to form the greatest Rock 'n' Roll band in the world.....lets hope.

Thanks Gene,Paul,Ace,Peter,Eric C.,Vinnie,Mark,Bruce and Eric S. you made my life that much better for seeing and hearing you.
