KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Luke Puser
The show was awesome, I couldnt believe how spectacular the opening was, this is what I have been waitin for since they came out here in 97. Eric Singer looked so cool, and he knows it to. His drumming ability is damn awesome. Hard to believe hes nearly 43! Simmons and Stanley as always get the crowd going, even Frehley was in fine form, much better than he was in 97. The tracks they played were shit hot, from the high energy Detroit Rock City to I Love It Loud and Shout It Loud.

The sound was fucking awesome to, it was just spot on, the heavy bass rockin thru ya was damn cool to. Simmons voice stood out on Lick it Up, it sounded funny because he looked so serious when singing it. Singers solo was fucken great, I think personally KISS are better off musically with Singer in the band cause his style and technique is very heavy metal unlike Criss's swing rock technique. While Frehley isnt the greatest guitarist in the world, he was damn good on the two nights I saw him.

Simmons bass work was great to, u could really feel his driving force in the rhythym section once he started to play. His solo was awesome as usual. I just hope that when the Alive 4 album comes out they incorporate some of Erics live performances as well. All in All a fucken top show. Im just pissed off that some of the other reviews were too picky, fuck them, you wanted KISS to come out and they do, then u whinge, well fuck you!!!!!!!

best numbers Detroit rock city, 100 000 years I was made for lovin u and let me go rockn roll plus the other medleys
