KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Doc George
What a show, I've seen KISS time and time again, but last night they seemed to pull out all the stops. The set list was similar to those I've read here before, and the "mini-movie" during Do You Love Me, was something special and added a real "Farewell" type feel to the show. The guys acted as if they were having a great time, unlike the Reunion tour, and also unlike the Reunion Tour show here in Memphis, they had a full stage show that was more spectacular than any in the past. Paul made it out to the crowd without any problems, and Gene flew without any hangups, both were real crowd pleasers. Skid Row was pretty tough to hear, although KISS is infamous for not allowing sound checks by the opening band. Ted absolutely kicked ass, and for those that can't handle his political views and say a concert is no place to share them, you fall directly into the crowd he was talking about, with his classically done "Kiss My Ass".
