KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Beth Fain
IT ROCKED!!!! It was the greatest 4 1/2 hours of my life. Skid Row opened her up at 7:00 on the dot, they were good. Missed Sebastian Bach, but they sounded great. They played for 30 min. Ted Nugent started at 8:00 on the dot and he really warmed us up, He was better than I ever thought he would be. When KISS time came, I was paralyzed waiting for them to start. At 9:10 I heard the announcement, You wanted the best, You got the best, and there they were in front of me, my heart raced and I jumped to my feet and screamed with everything I had, I was in the same building and standing right there with KISS!!!! They opened with SHOUT IT OUT LOUD and Paul Stanley is as fine as ever. Then we rocked to favorites such as HEAVENS ON FIRE, LICK IT UP, 2000 MAN, BETH (which was my ultimate personal moment, where I got choked up and cried) The ending was the ultimate ending, with ROCK N ROLL ALL NIGHT, tons of confetti and KISS thanking us from the borrom of their hearts. Paul also made a statement that the next time we go to a concert and feel like we didn't get what we came for and the performer didn't meet our expectations, that we should always remember this night and KISS. I will always remember. Thoughts of that night will always bring a smile to my face and a tear to my eye.
