KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Ron Ivanjack
This was my 5th Farewell show and my first outdoor show of the tour. It was COLD. The place was sold out and very loud. I was about 50 seats back but dead center-quite a different perspective than I got at Peoria in the front row.

Skid Row continues to keep me entertained. I like the shows 10 years ago and I still do. Tonight they opened with Piece of Me and replaced Mudkicker with the The Threat. Ted played for an hour. He add one song, Fred Bear (possible to ensure Kiss plays in darkness?).

I was skeptical in a shed but Kiss was still awesome. The main screen behind Peter gave out during DRC and was out all show. Paul tried to fly unsuccessfully and Ace accidently shot of a rocket during 2001. It went straight into the crowd but didn't seem to injure anyone. These flubs aside, it was a great show. It's really a shame the crowds do not seem to be familiar with songs like 2000 Man (which was on tonight), I Still Love You and even Psycho Circus. Also unfortunate to see the front row filled with whores (one of them even got the neck of Paul's guitar). Yeah, guys like to see tits but shouldn't the front row be filled with ecstatic fans that backed the band from the start not a bunch of sperm receptacles?

I digress. Tomorrow I head to Indy for my final Kiss show (?)
