KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Michael Walden
This was the 2nd time KISS was at the Target Center. This show was technically flawless! The sound quality was absolutely extraordinary in comparison to their first visit. The song lineup was the same of course, but the quality of the entire show was 100% better than the first time around.

The guys seemed to have a LOT more energy this time too! It was also a bit more than obvious to me that they have lost some of the "old man pot belly." They actually looked like they were having fun! There also seemed to be a lot more interaction with the crowd.

I was surprised that Peter, who at the first show was very quiet when not singing, was much more vocal. Ace's guitar solo was audibly stunning and went on for a bit longer than it did the first time. Gene's intro to "God of Thunder" was extended into an impressive bass solo. Paul's voice was absolutely incredible! Unlike the first time around, he rarely missed a note and his voice seldom cracked like it did many times at the first show.

This final show of the Farewell tour in Minneapolis/St Paul was absolutely impressive and outstanding! I couldn't have wished for a better performance from these guys. They are indeed the hottest band in the world!
