KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Christopher Coady
Just wanted to say that this was my 5th time seeing the greatest Rock band of all time and by far the Best! Don't get me wrong the Boy's have never let me down (except when they cancelled a show two years ago at the NCR Center in Ft.Lauterdal two days before the SuperBowl) I Live in Arnprior ,Ontario which is about a 3 hour drive! I Bought 5 tickets the second they went on sale months back. The ticket man said they almost crashed the system! My Brother and I saw Kiss during the Reuion Tour(3 Times: Ottawa,Albany and Hamiltion) During the first show in Ottawa we had 2nd Row Floor Center. These Seats were the best ever, however we missed alot of the fireworks because we were too close. This time I rolled the dice and asked for the best seats closest to the stage in the Red's. I got five Seats in Sec 111 Row A. I was quite thrilled until I checked the seating chart later and realized we were Side Stage. I thought oh God my friends are going to Kill me for getting 100.00 seats and we won't even see there faces or the screen for the amazing tribute. So to take some steam off I decided to have some drinks on the Road Trip to La Belle Provience. I figuered if I was hammered, my buddies would go easy on me. For those of you who have never been to Montreal, GO! It is a beautiful city. We got there early and headed to Moe's Bar and Deli across the street from the Molson Centre. Where we me our cousin Sean who interupted his Honeymoon to see KISS! Thank You Kelly!!! As we hit the Pints hard we all started to realize how special this evening was going to be! We arived at the arena half way threw Uncle Ted's performence. Sorry Teddy and Skid Row but we were only there to see One Band that night! Before we went to our seats we stoped for drinks. The best thing at the Molson Centre is there is no limit for Alcoholic Beaverages! Got to love the French for that! Finally the moment arrived to head for the seats As we walked down to the seats I prepared for the worse............when suddently I seen that 111 was actually to the Left front corner of the Stage!!! Whooo Hoooo we had the best seats in the House!!!! Thank You GOD!! As Uncle Ted finished up with the Flamming Bow and Arow, the excietment began to rise! I thought Poor Teddy was going to get Killed in Montreal for saying " If you don't speak English , Get the Fuck out!!! Ted, Remember your in Quebec! I mean nobody gives a Flying Fuck about Janet Reno or any of that other crap he said but the Language thing??? Funny Stuff! Finally on to KISS.

Right From th start " All Right Montreal........". And the opening licks of Detroit Rock City to the grand finally of Rock and Roll All Night they Blew the roof off the Place. The 18,000 plus never sat down once! I found myself going crazy for Shock Me, the only song I though woud be weak!(I would have prefered New York Grove or In to the Void). My cousin caught two picks, one from Paul and one from Ace we were that close! But the whole Show just Kicked Ass! I Love It Loud was Awesome! All the boys looked great and really into the show. Paul was his charming self! "Beivenue Montreal....!!!!","We Love Youuuuuuuuu! The Fans ate all of it up! It was great! It was the Best Show I have ever seen them do and the best show Ever, Period! I was really sad during the finale, but I just thought of one thing.......See you in Syracuse on the 16 of Sept. And Hell if I can afford it in MSG for the closeing whenever it is. From the Hot in the Shade Tour to 3 Reunion Show to the Finale in Montreal the sign at the end of the show was wrong. No its not "Thank You Montreal"!, But Peter, Ace, Paul and Gene......THANK YOU! Thank You for giving us the greatest Rock Show of All Time!
