KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Seamus O'Reilly
Mountain View, the Shoreline, where I have seen a ton of show. This was an awesome show, partly because I saw a bunch of people from George and Portland, and second I went with my mother. It's her 4th time seeing them and she took me to my first KISS show in 92 so I treated her tonight. The set was the usual with 100, 000 Years being the usual standout of the night. Some funny tidbits though, Ace walked right into the micstand during Shock Me, nearly fell over and the stand did. He also didnt sing the "come on everybody shout it now" line during Shout It Out Loud. He was late getting to the stage for God of Thunder and it seems this happens every night. During Black Diamond Peter sang "Genes got you under his thumb" which is the first time Ive heard it be someone other than Paul. I wonder if someone told them this is a town called Shoreline,as the intro went "Alright Shoreline", Paul kept saying "We've never been to Shoreline before" and the screen read "KISS thanks you Shoreline." Mountain View, Shoreline, same thing. But this was a great show. And again, Ted did NOT sacrifice his guitar. Small pet peeve, but then again Paul doesnt really smash his real guitar either. On to Marysville!
