KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: beefnbitsy@aol.com
I drove 6 hours to see my final KISS show with a buddy who was going to his first show. I am a life long KISS fan [24 years] and this was my 5th reunion show to see.

My bud works for the station that was at the show [105.9 the Rock] so we got thier early to hang out at the live broadcast. The station gave away 2nd row seats to a guy who saw KISS in Australia and we headed in for our 10th row seats to watch Skid Row.

Skid: Lots of energy but not Bach no way - it just does not work.

Ted: Straight forward kick ass RNR. Tommy on the drums was awesome.

KISS: The best show I have ever seen from the rock gods. The sound was great and the band just kicked ass. Ace was ripping, while Gene and Paul kept the crowd of 18,000 fired-up all night. The guys were having fun and their excitement kept everyone on their feet for the entire show. The funniest part was when Paul introded Ace for 2,000 man and Ace starts to play Shock Me. Peter stands on his drums and yells at Ace we already played that!! Paul is laughing his ass off and Ace responds by saying well we better play 2,000 man.

I can't believe this is the end, but I thought the original four would never get back together. So the last 4 years are like borrowed time, but 2000 was the best.

Long Live KISS
