KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Bobby Collier
TOTALLY AWESOME!! From D.R.C., to Love Gun (Paul swinging out to the audience), to Ace's Shock Me and 2000 Man, to Peter's drum solo and rising drum tier, to Black Diamond (finale), to Beth & Rock-n-roll all night (encore). The night was simply FAMtastic. The guys gave it everything they had and there were no apparent glitches that I could tell. All the special effects, including the huge projection screens (never seen screens that clear), just made the show that much better. I have been a fan since 1976-77, but never got to see them during the early glory years. I saw them for the first time, during the Reunion Tour in Lafayette, LA and last night's show was simply heads and shoulders better than the Reunion gig.

I hate to see the guys hang it up! But as Paul was quoted, I would rather see them go out on top, rather than playing past their time. LONG LIVE GENE, PAUL, PETER, & ACE. Thanks for the memories.

By the way, Skid Row and Nugent put on good shows as well.
