KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Billy Frantz
Let me start out by saying Thank You to Kiss for giving me 20 plus years of memories and good times. There will never be another you. This show, being the 12th time ive seen them live, dating back to the alive 2 tour in 78, was by far the most exciting and visual ive seen. They definetly give you your money's worth on this tour. The set list was the same as previously read in other reviews with Paul doing I Still Love You prior to the opening of Black Diamond. Paul and Gene flew without any miscues as ive read it had happend in other venues. The place was packed with 15000 plus kiss army members as everyone I noticed was standing the whole show. The guys really sounded and played awesome. Paul worked the crowd as he usually does. Gene was the demon at his best. Ace really rocked the house, his solo was especially good. I thought Peter did a great job also. Ive been reading some reviews and was kind of worried on how he would preform but to me he seemed in great spirits and condition. We had good lower bowl seats and you really could feel the heat from the pyro. The confetti at the end of RARAN was awesome. Tons of it everywhere. The video was neat during some of the songs. Giving a new dimension of their show. Overall I reccomend this show for all to see. Whether your a Kiss fan or not you will come out of this saying WoW. I went with 8 other people with 3 of them never have seeing them before. It was awesome seeing their reactions during the show. At the end they thanked me for convincing them to go and realized I have been right all these years saying you will never see a better live show than KISS.

About the opening acts, Skid Row suprised me by actually doing a good job.Yea the new singer isnt Bas but overall they got me going early in the night.

Ted Nugent was very entertaining as he always has been the times ive seen him. He seems to have not lost anything when it comes to playing that gibson. Tommy Aldridge was awesome on the drums.

Well its a sad day for me knowing I will never see this again, but I feel fulfilled after this show as they really went out with a bang. Kiss, you will forever be in my heart and soul and again I thank you for being part of my life for the past 24 years. A forever KISS ARMY member,
