KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: John
What can I say in one word about this show......Unfuckingbelievable!!!! Every KISS fan has to see this show. Nevermind the complaints posted by other concert goers. This show kicks maximum ass from start to finish. I've been a KISS fan since the tender age of three and I've seen them fifteen times over the past sixteen years. It definitely is sad to see them go, but nothing lasts forever. I'm thankful that they've been around for this long. So everyone out there bitching and complaining, shut up....be thankful that our boys are giving us one last tour.

Being a musician, I always try to pay attention to each member's performance and I'll tell ya, our fab four were all on fire Tuesday night. The setlist was exactly the same with the exception of Paul playing 'I Still Love You' during his 'Black Diamond' intro. Unfortunatley, Space Ace did not play his medley of Klassic KISS riffs during his solo. Hopefully, he'll play the medley in Boston...I'll be at both shows. Ace did manage to fall at one point. He got up laughing. It was pretty funny.

There wasn't any on stage tension like some other reviews said. The boys were in high spirits, giving each other high fives and dancing with one another. Peter sounded great especially on 'I Love It Loud'. I wasn't sure how that song was going to sound, but let me tell you and this is from another drummer's mouth, PETER ROCKS!!

Paul and Gene, what can I say, you two are the reason why KISS has lasted. Paul sang his ass off and sounded incredible. Gene was totally on. He was in full character the entire night, pointing and looking at girls and chasing after ACE...and yes, he was licking ACE's neck during 'Detroit Rock City' and 'Cold Gin'.

The boys descended from the rafters playing 'Detroit Rock City' unlike the first show where they were already on the stage when PAUL counted the tune off. Everybody....go see this show, you won't be disappointed. If you don't, you'll be kicking yourself in the ass!!!!! KISS RULES FOREVER AND EVER and you can quote me on that.
