KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Donovan Allman
After a two month wait, the night had finally arrived. the day/night was a roller coaster ride. on the way over, almost got arrested for an expired tag...but was allowed to ride(thanks kiss karma). my seats were a lot better than i thought they would be. approx 20 feet from stage... any way skids come on a put on a respectable show. very loud. lead singer done a respectable job. then master ted come on and he rrocked. better set than i thought he would do. very funny and entertaining. then the lights went out the curtain dropped. kiss kicked in to drc as they were being lowered to stage(peter was not lowered down with group). you could tell their adrenaline was flowing. all 4 were very energetic. i have never seen paul so into a show like he was last night. gene was gene..stalking and preying around. ace was blazing on the guitar..excellent solo. done a great job with 80's tunes. peter did not show any signs of arm problems. he had a very small solo, b! ut he done a great job . did not see him wearing his arm braces. i dont think i have ever seen so much pyro and graffetti had a show in my life. i could feel the fire burn my skin everytime they went up. kiss was very thankful of everyone, and let us know on numerous occasions. oh yeah..paul did pinch ace on the ass at one point....also ace fell by drum riser steps (very funny). all in all it was probably the best kiss show i have seen(this was #7). no mechanical difficulties as paul and gene flew(though i thought paul almsost stopped a couple of times as he went across audienced. i hope tonite show in tampa is as good as orlando. *****note*****if u take a camera to show, take a spare roll of film. i was told by a reliable source i had plenty of film in camera, first pic of kiss i took, i heard the film rewinding...:(
