KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Craig Byars
Kiss rocked Peoria!!! First off we had to drive 220 miles to Peoria. Skid Row kicked things off at 7:00pm(was not impressed).Ted hit the stage about 7:50pm,and put on a killer show. He did a great job getting the crowd excited and played till 8:45pm.At 9:15 "THE HOTTEST BAND IN THE WORLD" took the stage. The show was top notch from start to finish. All four played great and seemed to be having a great time.Ace was great from Shock Me to his solo on 2000 Man,He rocked the arena all night(ACE ROCKS)Peter played great, but I would have liked his solo during 100,000 years to have been longer,he was playing top notch.Paul did a super job as usual. He was really great with the crowd and was sincere in thanking the fans for years of support.Gene was Gene all over the place he just seemed to be enjoying himself. The stage was set up great I was also impressed by the amount of pyro that was used.I think when Peter sang Beth then said his thanks to the crowd it hit me that I was seeing my favorite band for the last time. When rock n roll all nite was over and the confetti had flown it was 11:25pm and the time had went by to quick. This show reminded me why I became a Kiss fan in 1977,they rock and will always put on the best show.
