KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Stu L
Godzilla Stomped Perth!!!

Kiss put on a huge effort, they were on stage for 2hrs 25min and delivered a fine show.

The playlist was exactly the same as your concert from memory, Paul also did a short Shandi combined with I Still Love You.

Ace was the crowd's sentimental favourite, all cheering every time it was his turn to sing. He was in fine form too.

"I wanna talk to you Perth!"

The funniest moment was after he'd done the smoking guitar routine and comes back on saying something along the lines of "Fuck I hate it when that shit happens. My guitar keeps smoking up". He was struggling by the end of the night. I didn't see it but I heard on the radio this morning that towards the end he had people helping around on stage.

My only disappointment was that the crowd was small and (maybe it was because I had earplugs in) weren't that active/vocal. Paul Stanley was continually saying stuff along the lines of "It's all-right to make a little noise Perth".

And he didn't really say we were #1 that convincingly he just said "You're #1 tonight but we've got a lot more shows to go and you're gonna have to work hard tonight to keep yourself #1".

There were times when Gene refused to play (crossing his arms) until the crowd piped up. He was quite underwhelmed by the crowds lame response to his blood vomitting.

But the show itself and their performance were damn good.
