KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Shane Christensen
Well, I have to admit that I was almost a little disappointed with the show. ALMOST. I then realized that this was my 10th KISS show and I might be a little jaded. I guess I just expected them to blow up everything but the state capitol (you know, being the farewell tour and all), but looking back it really was a hell of a show. The show started right on time (obviously because of the VH1 coverage which I tried video tape at home but they didn't air it in my area for some reason :( !!!), and everyone looked really good. It was an open air arena, so the sound was good, but not overpowering, which was nice because there were a lot of little kids there (my four year old son included). They sounded great!!! Alot better than when I saw them on the reunion tour. A couple of small flubs here and there, and Peter's backups being WAAAY too loud at first, but nothing major. They even looked like they were all having fun, which, again, was very different from when I saw the reunion tour. Overall, a great show, and a great way to remember them!!! One small complaint though: NO "STRUTTER"!!! 3 Tickets from Ticketmaster.com = $120.00 Parking = $7.00 Tour Program = $30.00 Hearing my 4 yr. old son say "Daddy, that was sooo COOOOL!!" after the concert = PRICELESS!
