KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Joe P.
Caught the farewell tour for the second time with one more show in the area coming up. I did'nt see Skid Row the first show but saw their set this time and i was impressed. They were much better than some of the reviews i've read. Ted put on a good set as usual, you either love him or hate him but the place went nuts for him. The other show i saw was the mansfield mass show (boston) but i was looking foward to tonight in the civic center. Kiss was meant to be seen in an arena not an outdoor pavillion..The stage was great and everything went off smoothly.

The band was real tight tonight and mixed up the set list from the earlier show. I've seen Kiss many times but this is the best they have sounded in a while. Ace was playing well tonight, looks like he's back on track or he's not drinking during the shows now. The one thing that was missing was Peter's solo, he played well so maybe droping his solo is helping his playing. Gene and Paul were great as usual. The providence crowd was really into the show and the band knew it, this is one of the best arena's in the northeast in my opinion. I'm going to miss Kiss but all good things must come to an end. But who know's, they might be back...
