KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Eric Norman
Another great show, although im not a big fan of outdoor concerts. I liked the Greensboro show better, but only because it was inside and I had better seats. But I have to admit. Ted was alot better tonight than Greensboro, and his onstage ranting really got me fired up. Anyone who doesnt agree with him really needs to seek help. He is the most honest truth speaker I have ever seen or heard. KISS hit the stage at 8:45, due to a local sound ordinance. They totally rocked. Tonights crowd seemed especially into Gene, and he returned the favor with one of the most awesome blood spittings ive ever seen him do. He looked posessed. Then to my complete amazment, he did a small "bass solo" during Let Me Go, Rock n Roll that was very cool. Aces solo was great too, but I really missed the classic riffs like he did in Greensboro, but hey, it was all Ace!!! Peters mini solo was a little bit longer than the last one I saw, and the crowd really seemed to give him an extra boost. Paul as always was great, his voice just keeps getting better. Most likely this will be the last time I ever get to see them, so I would just like to say, in case they were to ever read this, that I will never forget them, and that their music will always live on in the people, like me, whom they inspired to learn guitar for the sole purpose of bringing a smile to someones face with a simple hit of an A chord that could crack your ribs! God bless you guys, and thanks a million!!!!!
