KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Ernie Gallegos
OK...This was me and my buddy Patrick's first KISS show. This was the moment that we have been waiting for for a long time. KISS rocked Reno! Lawlor Events Center was so small that i think that every seat was a good seat. (we had section 10LC Row 17 Seats 7 & 8) For me, Ace was the highlight of the show. When he did 2000 Man (my favorite KISS song) I had a tear in my eye. Ace was so into the whole show. His guitar solo was right after 2000 Man. He tossed in riffs from Parasite, Hard Times and Snowblind. The smoke from his guitar looked great. Paul flew out for Love Gun and danced his ass off on his little stage. Gene was just...well, he was Gene. That's all I can say. Blood, Fire and BASS!!!! By the time the music started for Beth (my other favorite KISS song) and Peter was in the spotlight, I had to cry a little. Peter thanked the fans and of corse saying "god bless each and every one of you" I knew that it was almost time to say goodbye to the greatest band that ever lived.

The audience was so great. They were loud, proud and psycho and they just blew the roof off. It was the best night of my life and I will never forget it. I got some confetti from "RARAN" and I'm going to try to see them one more time if I can. If I don't see them again, I will never forget Paul's final words "Never forget us, we'll never forget you!"

Long live the God's Of Thunder and Rock And Roll!!!!!
