KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Mark Gooch
This was my fourth KISS concert - first for my wife. She was a little skeptical at first but the day after she admits that it was a pretty awesome concert. We missed Skid Row altogether. Ted Nudgett was too loud and too politically incorrect. KISS was fairly predictable - but then why mess with winning formula?? We had third row seats so it was great to see them up close for the first time - very different of previous concerts. We loved the interaction. My wife caught one guitar pick, the girl a few chairs down got 3! (Gene's a too little possessive with his - Paul gets the award the distance). They played a varity of songs from several albums. Peter doesn't bang them like he used but who does and I kinda like a less overpowering drum beat. The group as a whole looked sharp and energetic and truly happy to be performing. They still give 'the greatest show on Earth!!'
