KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Albert ( RhythmMan) Moyer
Well, first I would like to say thank you to Kiss Asylum for allowing the reviews to be posted. It's great to read all the reviews and opinions.

Touring to San Antonio from Houston my wife, parents, and I arrived at 6:30pm and made it on time for the 7:00 pm start time. The show was very well prepared and on schedule. Skid Row came on and did a fine performance considering some rude people where throwing things at them. Dave Sabo, the guitar player was on crutches playing injured. I thought that was great! I mean they could have canceled. Skid Row is not the same band without the original members. Maybe they will reunite. Also, Skid Row's sound was poor due to high volume from the PA. All in all, it was great to see them trying to recapture their past glory.

Ted Nugent , Mmmmmmm? Well, he is great!!! He is a rock legend. I was so glad to see him play. He brought the crowd to it's feet and was non-stop for an hour. Ted has been getting so much negative press for his views, politics, and cursing. Well, I am glad he did everything he did. He exhibited a basic AMERICAN right. Free speech!!! God bless Ted Nugent for voicing his opinion. I wish all my fellow Americans had the audacity to voice themselves. Maybe things would get done. PS- Ted is a Republican, and I am a democrat. So, no I am not agreeing with everything the guy says, but am supporting his right to say what the hell he wants.

KISS? Well, what else to say? KISS!!! KISS!!! KISS!!! They just did the best show I have seen them do in five tours. So much negative things have been said about them. All so wrong!!! ACE, PAUL, GENE, and PETER sincerely played their hearts out for the fans. You could here the sincerity in Paul's voice when he said," This is a night to say Farewell." The show was full of energy, pyrotechnics, lights, risers, and incredible playing. My parents hated KISS all throughout my childhood, and I was afraid of taking them into the arena, but to sum it all up, my mother and father said they had the greatest time and KISS was incredible. They stood for two hours clapping and cheering. Can you imagine having the Pope say ," I love the Devil?" Well, then you get the picture on what KISS accomplished that night with my parents. They are the only band in the world that can make people change their minds about them when witnessed live in action. To the critics, I am sorry you cannot be happy. To the KISS ARMY fans salute!!Paul Stanley said it best that night," When you go to a rock show remember the band is not doing you a favor to be there, you are doing them a favor by showing up." Finally, to ACE, PAUL, GENE, and PETER thank you for playing your hearts out at ever show, giving the fans great party songs , spending countless amounts of money producing the greastest rock shows ever, and giving me inspiration to play the drums and now thanks to ACE learning to play the guitar. Farewell!!!
