KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Rita Wingett
KISS kicked major ass in San Diego!!! I have seen them perform 7 times and they never fail to deliver the best show possible!! We got there as Skid Row was wrapping it up, Ted Nugent's 45 minute set seemed to last forever. I personally could have done without Ted altogether. I think he, his opinions, and his feathery headgear should take a hike!! Right after he shot his flaming arrow through his guitar, some jerk shot a flare or something across the arena. I dont think it was part of the show. It looked like somebody got hit with whatever it was, and there was a lot of security over in the area of origination. On to the big show...we had good seats, straight back from the stage, about stage level, nobody directly in front of us. I loved the way KISS entered the stage, very cool! The stage itself, very cool too! The only complaint, if you can call it that, is that the lights behind the band were brighter than the ones in front of them; kinda cast a shadow on their faces. Fortunately, the video screen was crystal clear. The guys were in top form, and they they gave it everything they had! I just wish they would have played I Stole Your Love!! We took our 4 year old son with us(thank you KISS for not stopping before he had a chance to see you!)He thought it was the coolest thing he ever saw!! I dont think he even blinked once! If you dont go to see them now, you are truly missing out!! The show was AWESOME!!! KISS,we will miss you!!!!!!!
