KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Ryan
Alright, here it is. I got there early, real early. They were still setting up the merchandise stands when I got there at about 3 in the afternoon. I was willing to wait and I didn't care how long, because I wanted to get to the best spot for the lawn seats that I had. The few of us who where there got to hear KISS practice Psycho Circus. Paul's voice was great, and the sound of their instruments was amazing. I didn't care too much for the shirts so I bought the 30 dollar tour book. It has some really cool pictures-plus every concert listed from the beginning. After a few hours or so, skid Row hit the stage with high energy and a good list of songs. The new singer was alright, but no Bach as you probably read before. Ted Nugent hit the stage next and I felt like I time warped to 1978. His guitar sounded great the enire show. I had never seen him before and I've heard mixed reviews. Well I'm here to tell you Ted kicked ass. He has a great sense of humor.

Well ladies and gentlemen, the KISS curtain dropped and the crowd noise grew so loud it was amazing. Then, the famous introduction came, which led to the beginning riffs of Detroit. With Peter on drums, KISS came flying from the stage ceiling on Ace's Spacecraft. Well, I gotta cut this short or I'll be booted. It was the greatest show ever. Thanks GUYS
